My Favorite Cities
I have had the privledge to travel most of my life and I am often asked what my favorite cities are. Here they are in no particular order.
Capetown South Africa:
One of the most beautiful cities in the world. Tahoe Mountain is a wonderous sight. The Victoria and Albert Warf is a great place to eat, shop, and stay. The Table Bay Hotel is fabulous!
Sydney Australia:
The Harbor , the Opera Hall, , the Docks, the Harbor Bridge, they are all spectacular.
London England:
One of the greatest cities in the world. As a history buff, London has it all, great museums and great sights.
Berlin Germany:
Wow, the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charley, East Berlin- beautiful streets, nice people.
Paris France:
Tree-lined Blvds, great shopping, and great food.
Rome Italy:
Food, food , food and more food.
Stockholm Sweden:
A Really cool place with great people.
Amsterdam, Holland:
Flowers, canals, and more bikes in one place than I have ever seen!
Athens Greece:
History everywhere.
China:
The Great Wall, amazing, the food -not so amazing.
Bueanos Aires, Argentina:
Very European and great steaks
Vancouver B.C:
Beautiful- Stanley Park is great.
Los Angles:
Hey its la la land. I love it.
San Fransisco:
Good food, the cable cars, Golden Gate Bridge. Mark Twain,once said that the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San- Francisco.
Boston:
The Clam Chowder Soup, the Charles River, the Freedom Walk, Harvard, and the Red Sox.
New York:
The Big Apple- that says it all!
Washington DC:
The seat of power for the world- you can feel it in the air. Great museums, good restaurants.
Dallax Tx:
It's Big D and everything is bigger and better in Texas (at least they think so). Great BBQ and Mexican food.
Honolulu:
A really cool vacation spot.
Denver:
The most beautiful city in the US surrounded by the rockies- breath-taking.
